PRIAevents organized the PRIA Agriculture Conference, accompanied by the PRIA Women in Agriculture Gala on March 22, 2018, at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest, starting at 14:00.
The PRIA Agriculture Conference was the most important spring event for agriculture and was a real platform for debate among farmers, authorities, and companies operating in the sector.
The conference was accompanied this year by the PRIA – Women in Agriculture gala, where we recognized and awarded women’s efforts and contribution to this important sector of the Romanian economy. We had renowned lecturers, as well as unprecedented moments, meant to boost the activity of some sectors in agriculture.
Agriculture is vital to the whole world. The European Union allocates a large budget and special attention to this sector. Therefore, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) strengthens the competitiveness and sustainability of EU agriculture, through direct payments to farmers and market measures, and finances rural development programs in the Union.

Romania’s potential in the agricultural sector is very high and there is still room for growth. In the following we will see problems that we face, but also solutions or suggestions for the essential growth of Romanian agriculture, but also certain problems that we face.
It is very important to see how we can benefit from the CAP after 2020, how we attract more European funds, how can we have good results, constant and sustainability, how we can grow Romania’s agriculture.
It was the most important agricultural event of spring, debated the most important topics for Romanian agriculture with representatives of the authorities and press.
